BC Rehab works toward a British Columbia that is inclusive and accessible to all people. We promote projects and initiatives that increase accessibility so that all people -- regardless of their physical capabilities -- can thrive, participate and contribute in their communities.

Through our advocacy and fundraising efforts BC Rehab is able to assist British Columbians who are living with a physical disability. We fulfill individual needs, such as personal mobility equipment, when individuals cannot afford to purchase such items on their own. At BC Rehab we celebrate and support people with disabilities in their journey toward achieving their own form of independence. Our allocation committee meets 3-4 times a year to review applications and determine funding.

Our project grants are intended to support initiatives and projects designed to benefit people with disabilities. Some examples of organizations we have supported through our project grant program include the Disabled Independent Gardener Association's urban gardening program, the Community Recreational Initiative Society's Adaptive Adventures program and a supported housing development for brain injury survivors in Campbell River.
Here you will find the BC Rehab Individual Grant Application and the associated program guidelines. This application is intended for individual funding requests from persons with physical disabilities. A range of requests are considered by our review committee.
